Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Pranav Aggarwal, who runs Pushback. We’ve kept them short and plain.
The short version
- Pushback is a self-help tool. It is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.
- You decide what gets sent, and you’re responsible for it being true.
- Be honest and civil: no false claims, no harassment.
- We can’t promise any company will pay you.
01Agreeing to these terms
By signing in or using Pushback you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Pushback. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract under Indian law.
02Self-help, not legal advice
Pushback helps you write and organise your own complaint. It drafts letters, suggests escalation steps, cites rules we think may apply, and tracks deadlines. It is not a law firm, lawyer or advocate, does not give legal advice, and does not represent you. Using Pushback does not create a lawyer–client relationship.
Drafts are produced partly by AI and can contain mistakes, including wrong rules, deadlines or amounts. Rules and company processes change. Read every draft before you approve it. For legal advice about your situation, speak to a qualified advocate, or contact the National Consumer Helpline (1915).
03Your responsibilities
- Truthfulness. You are responsible for every complaint, letter and reply sent through Pushback being true, accurate and not misleading, including amounts, dates, booking and order details, and the proof you attach.
- Your own claims only. Use Pushback for your own refunds, or for someone who has asked you to help with theirs.
- Review before approving. When you approve a letter, you’re confirming you’ve read it and want it sent as written.
- Your account. Keep your Google account and devices secure. Tell us if you think someone else is using your Pushback account.
- Regulator forms. Complaints on government portals are submitted by you, on the portal’s own terms.
04Acceptable use
Don’t use Pushback to:
- make false, exaggerated or fraudulent claims, or ask for money you aren’t owed;
- harass, threaten, abuse or spam anyone, including company staff, or send messages far beyond what a fair complaint needs;
- impersonate another person, or file complaints in someone’s name without their permission;
- upload forged documents, or anything illegal, obscene or containing malware;
- break the law, including laws on defamation, privacy and fraud;
- probe, overload, scrape or attack the service, get around usage limits, or misuse the email and calling features to reach people unrelated to your complaint.
We may refuse to draft or send a message, pause autopilot, or suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts others at risk.
05Sending, autopilot and AI calls
- Approval. Nothing is sent to a new recipient without your approval. If you send from your own mail app, you do the sending.
- Connected Gmail. If you connect Gmail, approved letters go out from your address and are your messages. Disconnect any time.
- Autopilot is off by default. If you switch it on for a case, you authorise Pushback to send polite follow-ups and requested case details in that case’s existing threads, to recipients you already approved, without asking each time. You remain responsible for those messages and can switch autopilot off any time.
- AI calls (beta, disabled at launch). When available, our AI assistant always says it is an AI calling on your behalf, never claims to be you, and cannot accept or decline any offer for you. Calls may be transcribed.
- Share links. Pages you choose to share are public to anyone with the link.
06Pushback Plus
- What it is
- A 30-day pass to extra features (listed on the Plus page). Drafting, sending and reminders stay free.
- Price
- Pay what you want, above the minimum shown at checkout. It's a one-time payment in the currency shown at checkout. The price never depends on what you recover.
- Length
- 30 days from payment. Buying again while active adds another 30 days. It does not renew automatically.
- Payments and refunds
- Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the seller of record. Refunds follow Dodo Payments’ refund policy. If something went wrong with your purchase, pushback.cases@gmail.com and we’ll help.
- Beta features
- Features marked beta may change, be limited or be switched off. We can't guarantee they're available for your whole pass.
07Disclaimers and liability
No guaranteed outcome. Whether you get a refund depends on the company, regulators and the facts of your case. We don’t promise any result, response time or amount.
As is. Pushback is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. We depend on outside services (such as Google, email delivery and AI providers) that can fail or change.
Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, Pranav Aggarwal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost refunds, profits or data, arising from your use of Pushback. Our total liability for any claim relating to Pushback is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Plus in the 3 months before the claim, or ₹1,000.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Your part. If someone makes a claim against us because of a message you approved or content you uploaded in breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable losses that result.
08Ending your use
You can stop using Pushback whenever you like and delete everything with “Delete all my cases and account data” on your cases page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we may change or stop the service. If we shut Pushback down, we’ll give reasonable notice where we can so you can save your case details.
09Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first: most problems can be fixed quickly. If we can’t resolve it, the courts of India have jurisdiction, and you may also use any consumer forum available to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
10Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email before significant changes take effect. Continuing to use Pushback after that means you accept the new terms.
